Wait! Can you believe Ramadhan is here already?

May Allah make us witnesses. Amin.

I first came across the monthly one word goal from Layinka Sanni’s Instagram last year. Its when you find a word that encompasses your goals and you take the word and make it your focus. You put it into the goals of your areas of life – career, business, family, spirituality, financial and social. I find that some people actually have a one word goal for a whole year and I thought it was going to be tiring to just focus on one thing all year round.

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful

Assalamu’alaikum Beautiful,

I pray that you are in perfect health and the best of Iman. I write you today because I have some things I want you to know or maybe just remind you in case you have forgotten.

Marriage is something we all hope for, wish for and long for and sometimes we expect it to just happen for us. I mean, is that not what comes next right after or even before getting a degree in the stages of life?  In all honesty, it is not our birthright. It is a Mercy from Allah (SWT).

Rumki Chowdhury wrote this book about the hijab (Ironic isn’t it? That the name is Unveiled). The book reads like a poem but feels like a story and has some pretty illustrations, which help convey her messages even better. Ma Sha Allah!
